  • What are custom mailer boxes?

Custom mailer boxes are made-to-order corrugated boxes with a fold-over lid and locking tabs or flaps. They are commonly used for ecommerce orders, subscriptions, PR kits, gifts, apparel, beauty products, books, accessories, and product bundles. The size, board, printing, finish, and insert can be configured around the completed pack.
  • What is the difference between a mailer box and a shipping box?

A mailer box usually has a fold-over lid, side walls, dust flaps, and a tuck-front or locking closure. A standard shipping carton normally uses top and bottom flaps sealed with tape. Mailers often combine branding and presentation, while regular shipping cartons may be more practical for large, heavy, or multi-unit shipments.
  • Can a custom mailer box ship without an outer carton?

A mailer may ship on its own only when the complete pack is suitable for the product, weight, board grade, closure, sealing method, route, and carrier handling. Fragile, liquid, glass, high-value, or heavy products may require cushioning, a fitted insert, an inner product box, or a separate outer shipper.
  • How do I measure a custom mailer box?

Arrange the product exactly as it will be packed, including inner cartons, wrap, inserts, tissue, accessories, and cards. Measure the completed pack’s length, width, and depth and provide the total packed weight. State whether the product is fragile and whether the mailer will ship alone. The packaging team should confirm final interior clearance and the dieline.
  • What materials are available for custom mailer boxes?

Kraft corrugated and white corrugated options may be available. The suitable flute, board grade, liner, and wall construction depend on the box dimensions, packed weight, stacking, print requirements, and route. The final specification is confirmed during quotation.
  • Can mailer boxes include inserts or dividers?

Yes, subject to the selected structure and product. Possible options include corrugated inserts, paperboard inserts, die-cut holders, dividers, compartment trays, and foam inserts where available. The insert should follow the product profile and account for labels, caps, accessories, protective wrap, removal method, and the total packed weight.
  • Can I print inside and outside the mailer box?

Inside printing, outside printing, or printing on both surfaces may be available. Final print method and color result depend on the corrugated board, liner color, artwork, quantity, and production method. Kraft and white surfaces can produce different color appearances, so review the proof and discuss color requirements before production.
  • What is the minimum order quantity?

Low MOQs are available. The exact minimum depends on the interior dimensions, corrugated specification, printing method, finish, insert, and production setup. The quotation will confirm the minimum for the approved configuration.
  • How long do custom mailer boxes take?

Standard turnaround is 12 to 14 business days after final artwork approval and payment confirmation. Express turnaround of 6 to 8 business days may be available for selected specifications. Timing depends on the structure, material, quantity, artwork, finish, production capacity, and destination and is confirmed in the quotation.
  • Can I get a digital proof or physical sample?

A digital proof can show artwork placement and panel layout before production. Ask whether a structural sample, printed sample, or production-grade sample is available for the approved specification. Cost, eligibility, and lead time will be confirmed before production.
